Receiptable is proud to announce a new partnership with uPay, the UAE’s leading payment kiosk operator, to power digital receipts across its nationwide network of self-service payment terminals.

uPay processes more than 100,000 transactions every day across 400+ services, enabling customers to make payments for mobile top-ups, utility bills, entertainment platforms and transport services through a network of more than 1,700 kiosks across the UAE.

Through the partnership, customers using uPay kiosks will soon receive interactive digital receipts that can be instantly saved and shared, providing a seamless and compliant proof of purchase experience for essential day-to-day transactions.

The rollout will cover a wide range of services including:

  • Mobile top-ups and telecom services including e& and du
  • Utility payments including water, electricity and gas
  • Entertainment services such as Netflix, Steam and Google Play
  • Transport and travel services including Uber and Careem

The partnership represents another major step forward in Receiptable’s mission to build the digital receipt infrastructure layer for merchants, payment providers and financial institutions across the MENA region.

In addition to reducing reliance on paper receipts, the platform enables businesses to unlock new customer engagement opportunities at the point of purchase through interactive post-payment experiences delivered directly to the consumer.

Chris Purdie, CEO of Receiptable, commented:

“uPay has built one of the region’s most impressive payment kiosk networks, processing a huge volume of essential day-to-day consumer transactions across the UAE. We’re excited to support the uPay team as they continue their rapid growth and to help modernise the customer experience across their network.”
